Inside Animation Collective: Meet the Creators of TV’s Hottest New Toons!

Come meet the creative team behind such favorites as Kappa Mikey, Speed Racer: The Next Generation, Three Delivery, and Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF. This exclusive panel will give fans and industry insiders a chance to pose questions to some of the most talented producers, directors, artists and voice talent in the biz! On Saturday, September 6th at 11 am on the Nicktoons network there will be a new episode of Kappa Mikey! Here is a little synopsis:

“Mitsuki Butterfly”
The gang expects to see Mitsuki’s dad, Dadsuki, perform as the Empress in a kabuki play. He breaks his leg immediately before it begins, and Mikey falls in love with the Empress on-stage, not realizing it’s really Mitsuki as an understudy. In the subplot, Gonard falls in love with popcorn before it becomes a horrible addiction.

Episode 215 – “Seven LilyMu”
The LilyMu cast are tricked into visiting a remote Japanese village, where the townspeople believe Ozu and the gang are real crimefighters who can help them their with their bandit problem.

Episode 117 – “Reality Bites”
Guano gets a bad case of writer’s block, so to fill airtime, Ozu puts his cast on a Real World-style reality show. The never-ending scrutiny of the cameras pushes Mikey and the cast to take drastic measures to escape from the show, a la The Truman Show.

Episode 211 – “The Masked Tanuki”
Ozu sends his cast out to discover the identity of real-life superhero, the Masked Tanuki.

Episode 111 – “Splashomon”
Ozu interrogates the cast to find out who’s responsible for the death of his beloved goldfish. Cast members relate their inconsistent accounts of the crime in flashbacks a la Rashomon.

Episode 220 – “Mikey and the Pauper” - Tired of his life as a star, Mikey switches places with a look-alike in this take on “The Prince and the Pauper.”
