Come Meet & Greet Kappa Mikey Creator Larry Schwarz
This weekend, Nicktoons Network kicks off its 5-city mobile tour in the New York area with Animation Collective as a major part of this event! If you or your friends and family live on Long Island or New Jersey, come out and catch the tour at the following times and locations:
Saturday, July 15th 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Roosevelt Field, Garden City, NY – Carousel Court
Sunday, July 16th 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Circuit City, Brick, NJ
The Nicktoons Network Mobile Tour will give kids and animation fans an interactive, up-close look at animation. Kappa Mikey and Thumb Wrestling Federation will be prominently featured – Larry and Sergei, Kappa Mikey’s director, will be on site signing autographs and there will be a Thumb Wrestling Federation booth where kids can participate in their own videotaped thumb wrestling bouts. AC shows will also be featured in tour video, signage and giveaways. See below for more information about the tour.
The Nicktoons Network Mobile Tour will travel to the following cities:
♦ New York/New Jersey Saturday, July 15 – Sunday, July 16
♦ Boston Saturday, July 22 – Sunday, July 23
♦ Detroit Saturday, July 29 – Sunday, July 30
♦ Houston Friday, August 4 – Sunday, August 6
♦ Los Angeles/Burbank Saturday, August 12 – Sunday, August 13

On your characters page, I would suggest writing the Japanese names in kanji, or at least hiragana, not katakana. Writing their names in katakana makes them seem foreign, because that’s one of katakana’s main uses. I haven’t seen the show yet (I’m a Canadian waiting for it to air on Teletoon), so I don’t know anything for sure, but I think that’d make it look more real.
