New Episode of Kappa Mikey
On Saturday, September 6th at 11 am on the Nicktoons network there will be a new episode of Kappa Mikey! Here is a little synopsis:
“Mitsuki Butterfly”
The gang expects to see Mitsuki’s dad, Dadsuki, perform as the Empress in a kabuki play. He breaks his leg immediately before it begins, and Mikey falls in love with the Empress on-stage, not realizing it’s really Mitsuki as an understudy. In the subplot, Gonard falls in love with popcorn before it becomes a horrible addiction.

Holy Moley! The minute I saw this post I jumped up from my seat at started freaking out! I’m so excited to see Mitsuki Butterfly. The popcorn addiction looks sooooo funny.

*Chers* Well again I will say Mitsuki Butterfly was very cute. Fashion Frenzy….errr I have a few “CENSORED” words to say about Lily.
But overall great episode, I hope we will be seeing a season 3 ^_^ Lizzy wants aseason 3

I thought both episodes were really funny. Did you hear about the new episode? its supposed to be a parody of The wizard of Oz. It’s called, The Wizard of Ozu. I think that title is HILARIOUS!!

There’s a opera called “Madam Butterfly”. They did this episode after it.
I knew Mikey would eventually like Mitsuki. He needs someone who forgives easily. Kappa Lizzy does NOT fit that discription as far as I know.
Fashion Frenzy was….. Mikey’s clothes were alful, and so were Lily’s. Lets just say poor Mitsuki.

sorry, shouldn’t judge. i can’t see any of the bloggers, so i can’t know you well. sometimes i wish i could, other time i do not. liz, if you like mikey that much, i’m not holding you back, so love him all you want! i mean, all my favorite cartoon characters are boys, except mitsuki.

I wonder if some of these “kappa’s” don’t even watch KM on TV. Yes, KM fans are now “kappa’s”. (Note: I’m partly a kappa, but i’m also a racer and a deliverer)

I watch Kappa MIkey still, usually every night, or draw. Make AMVs, *shrugs* WHatever my kappa mind comes up with.

85% racer
5% deliveyer
10% kappa
yeah, thats alot of racer. but it helps that i knew that series long before TNG or the movie came around. so i’m able to spot out referances to the original in the blink of an eye. so that’s become my favorite hobby. and it’s fun because i was a fan of kappa mikey at the time also. so it was cool to see two series combine (in a way).

I’m 80 perent racer, 15 persent deliverer, and 5 persent kappa. I still like KM, but I really like SRTNG and TD!

i know i’m not kappa lizzy, but i draw nearly as good as the artist themselves. though i draw the original better than TNG. don’t know why. but i can draw a mean Mach 5/6. but i’m more of a fan fic writter. (178 fan fics for the original speed racer so far, and 45 fan fics for TNG. and still counting)
thanks kappa’s for not getting mad at us for useing this blog for un-kappa related purposes. when we get a speed racer fan site up, you can blog about kappa there i guess. we’ll make a form for you to post about kappa till your hearts contint.

I can draw almost any animation you put in front of me. I can draw anime, TNG animation, TD animation, American animation, and any kind in between. I can draw it pretty much as good as the pros, but not quite yet. The thing I’m bad at, other than realistic drawing, is making up ideas for drawing, but that’s what my friend is for(other than the other things I like her for). I can draw Mitsuki *snaps* just like that. I have a lot of KM and TNG art on my walls. I have a lot of discarded or unfinished art work, too (it’s the only thing I’m picky about). If anyone has ideas for fan art, comment about it for me.

yeah, i know what you mean. i can draw all of the main cast of both speed racer’s and a mach 6 in the backround in 14 minutes. (i timed myself. i think it’s a record) i feel exactly like Connor sometimes because i have AT LEAST 30 pictures of the original speed racer i drew myself on my wall. i can’t draw kappa mikey really well. (drawing mikey gets me every time) and i can draw TD pretty well. man, now that i think about it i do have a bunch of speed racer mechandice in my room too. and every speed racer DVD ever releast. and a few action figures…. AW MAN! I’M LIKE CONNOR! (cries)
aw well. it could be worse. i could be like annalise.

rex, it’s o.k. to be a “geek” and/or a “nerd! People call me that all the time, and geeks and nerds excel in stuff instead of the guys and gals that slack and party. And DO NOT put me down for being one. I have a great but sad reason for being glad to be one.

rex, if you are worried about being like Conor and you think you are like him, then you must be REALLY smart. Besides, I somewhat I was friends with cartoon characters (speed, x, conor, sid, sue, mitsuki, gonard, ext.).

Its so hard to draw other characters. I could only draw Guano (cuz he’s pretty easy, not too too much detail) and mitsuki.
Hey this portion of my blog is about a topic that appeared earlier. AC would make more KM episodes because KM is one of their big hits. They wouldnt cut a big show that could earn them big potential. If you look at AC’s website, you can see that only about 10% of their shows are successful.
And rex, i agree; drawing Mikey is EXTREMELY hard

10%?!! My Gosh. Anyways I appreciate that comment Rex. I am not Kappa Mikey’s cheerleader for nothing. Well Kappa Mikey has an anime influence style to it.Anime is a big seller right now so I think Kappa Mikey will soar once it’s introduced to more & more people. That’s what I do at these anime conventions, if Avatar can be part of the anime conventions I see no reason why Kappa Mikey can’t too.
You guys can help by having a Kappa Mikey club at your school or at your library,etc.
and trust me it’s not all glam. You got to take the good and the bad. Plus the, “That’s not anime. I wouldn’t watch that piece of….” Well that may be your opinion, but if you judge it cause it has anime characters in it but it was made by a bunch of talented people in New York,USA and not Toyko,Japan then your 1 selfish,stuck up fruit loop.
Also me thinks they are jealous! ^_^ Mikey Simon is no more then a fan at an anime convention surrounded by cosplayers.

BTW, Mikey is not hard to draw, it depends on your patience and if you use screen shots as references. I know for a fact that on the Kappa Mikey DVD that you can buy at Amazon.com has a feature to show you how to draw Mikey. I love to draw Mikey myself! Just remember that Mikey is nothing but a bunch of symbols on a computer

I don’t know why people say that KM or any TV show that is like or is anime ( SRTNG and TD are) are lame and stupid. People like avatar, which I don’t like, and that’s not real anime because it’s made in America. Anime in American is called Western Anime, not just anime. The guidlines of anime apply to lots of new cartoons now, not just avatar.
Mikey’s easy to draw, but I just don’t do it. I just finished a sweet pickture of mitsuki. It has a soft touch to it, so it looks realistic. I have a lot of cool art, like a race car, a chibi verion of people form TNG, and a christmas picture of the lilymu crew. That last comment, liz, did it make mikey angry, that he’s just a buch of symbol on a screen? No offence!

Well people are just plain…. rude I think. If it’s not what THEY want they curse everything else. But Avatar as I said is popular at the conventions. True it is Western Anime, but the fans don’t care. They attack Kappa Mikey because they don’t want Mikey to share the spotlight with Avatar.
That’s a load of “Kapppa” in my opinion. I’m pretty sue Avatar would have NO issues with Kappa Mikey sharing his spotlight at an anime convention. And I know this cause at New York Comic con, Avatar shook my hand loving the female version of Mikey’s costume. Maybe it was cause he thought I was cute. O_O
Either way, Kappa Mikey, Three Delivery & Speed Racer deserve it. I won’t give up at the conventions till my hero is part of the cons which he has as long as I as a fan have been there other then AC themselves.
And I think Mikey is angry too cause he left symbols on my computer instead of actual words. >_>
But I say KEEP trying to draw Kappa Mikey! Look on DA, I will see if I can have a draw Kappa Mikey thing on there soon!

i don’t care much for avatar either. kappa and TNG are SO much better, people just don’t give them a chance, or they give it a chance, but turn it off right after the theame song. but they should be on a bigger network. i mean, NN is alright, (i LOVE laser awesome action night.) but it’s popular shows (TD,KM,TNG) should go onto nick itself. NN reaches well over 13 million houses, but only a fraction know that they have the channel. and a smaller percentage watch the channel at all. nick on the other hand reaches kids all across the world, and nearly all of them watch it. that’s my opinion.
and for the record, i know fans (over the internet of corse) from germany who can’t get nicktoons. they want to see TNG more than anything. all they have are the DVD’s and a few clips on youtube. i feel sorry for them. i keep them in the know about everything going on in TNG. those fans have barly seen the show, and they gave it more of a chance than this contry did.

A while ago, I bought like, 150 TNG trading card form Target. I have one of the movies and am asking for the books and other DVD’s to come for my b-day and Christmas.
You know, I don’t think that nick would care for cool stuff like TNG or TD. All I see on there is Carly (YUCK!!!!) and other junky teen shows.
I think, instead of Danny phantom and Avatar, they should play more TNG and TD or do show that are more, well, new. At least they should replace Avatar with KM. Besides, I have a cool idea for a action packed cartoon, plus I want to be a voice actress because I love to act, but am too shy and I get nervous when I get up in front of people. *so many eyes, so little time*

I hope this statement won’t hurt anyone’s feelings but you say you love Kappa Mikey, Three Delivery,and even Speed Racer but if the show got into trouble (In the fan’s view) would you actually say or do something about it? Or jut run & hide and say ,”I am not getting involved!”
Take me for a example, I do alot for Kappa Mikey both online & offline. I deal with drama you wouldn’t believe.I never knew how some get power hunger & jealous cause I work hard on Kappa Mikey. But with the show being shoved to late nights would the fans actually get involved and tell Animation Collective,Nick or Nicktoons, “Hey what is going on with Kappa Mikey?!

and anime-racer-girl-97, i also want to be a vocie actress. but i love getting up in front of people. the thrill of people looking at you makes it worth wild! but the problem with me is, i can’t speak without stuttering. but i’m working hard to fix that.

If I could and if it happened, I would, but I’m pretty much a nobody when come to that stuff. It’s so cool that you, kappa lizzy, are doing that kind of stuff. Me, I only have a couple of little fan pics. Oh, yeah, I don’t actually “love” TV shows, but when I say that I mean Like x1000000, but I don’t want o type that out.
I know, I really don’t like to that KM was moved to 2 am. That show, “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” is really dumb. I’m getting mad now. >_<

Well, I’m really don’t like to get up in front of people. Every person seems to be staring at me. I mean, some people like that, but I don’t. When I do get up in front of people (yes, I force myself to do it,)I never speak loud enough. That’s why I want to be a voice actress. I wouldn’t have to get up in front of people. Besides, being the voice of a cool cartoon character sounds very cool. I also like to sing, well somewhat, but my voice isn’t the best. I can’t go high, but I can go lower. That’s why I make up my own songs. But, put me up in front of even ten people and tell me to speak or sing, and I sound like someone with tape over their mouth, very quiet.

I know how you feel. everyone is super mad that KM is being pushed back to the later timeslots, but what can we do to make a major impact? We can write letters and keep blogging about it, but I think we need something bigger than that…..

The creator could be reading this very post..right now. or maybe the voice actor to Kappa Mikey or Gonard is…….O_O *gasp*

it’s not like we can all fly to california and protest outside the nicktoons network studio. we could send them some e-mails begging to bring KM back to it’s original time-slot. but that would mean giving up our pride and honnor (and we don’t have much) but hey, you got to think “What would —– do now?” our favorite characters would fill in the blank. (i’ve thought to myself “what would speed do now” sevral times.) but don’t pick someone goofy like jesse or jared. don’t pick connor either. (nothing good can come of picking connor. trust me.) speed’s a good character because he’s the most responcible and is not afraid to stand up for what he beleives in. but that’s just me.
